NYC's The Walkmen have officially announced their indefinite hiatus. After fourteen years of pounding out music both in the studio and on the stage, the band have finally decided that the time has come to go their own way. And it's not happening in a way that is full of regret or the result of a tumultuous relationship. No, instead, the Walkmen have realized that going out now is what's next for a band that played a pivotal role in the indie scene of the 2000s.
